Johnny Depp Forced to Exit ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Franchise
Hollywood has a problem!
Today a very well-respected actor, Johnny Depp has reported on Twitter that WB has requested him to resign his role as Grindelwald in JK Rowlings’ “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” due to the results of the libel case verdict in the UK against The Sun.
The funny thing about this situation is that there is substantial evidence that Johnny Depp was not the abuser in this relationship, but hey let’s just ignore all that evidence and let Ms. Heard walk! So Amber Heard gets to keep her job and role as Mera in the upcoming Aquaman 2, but with minimal screen time. Johnny Depp however loses his roles as Captain Jack Sparrow, Grindelwald, and probably blacklisted in Hollywood, that’s fair right? That’s equality, right?
Well WB I will let you know this now, and any other organization that follows. I for one will not be paying to watch Fantastic Beast nor Aquaman 2 for the double standard, hypocritical, injustice that has befallen Johnny Depp. WB asking this man to resign is a huge mistake and it will cost them dearly just like it will cost Disney as well. Once we answer them with our wallets for not showing up to pay and watch the movies they will respond. Best believe nerds and nerdettes they will respond when the money is being affected.
